Gravel or Light XC Mountain Bike? Why the Trek CheckOUT Isn't for Everyone
Sobre este vídeo
The Trek CheckOUT blurs the line, delivering a full-suspension rig built specifically for ultra-endurance bikepacking and the most aggressive terrain. With a RockShox Rudy XL fork (60mm), a SIDluxe Ultimate 3P rear shock (55mm), and massive 55mm Bontrager Betasso tires, this bike eats up rowdy descents and takes the mental load out of tricky lines. But all that capability comes with a significant catch: the CheckOUT tips the scales at nearly 25 pounds. We took the $8,999 SL 7 AXS build out on the high-consequence gravel of Marin to find out if the comfort is worth the weight penalty, and exactly who this highly specialized machine is actually for. Key Specs Tested: Weight: 24.78 lbs / 11.24kg (size small, without rack) Suspension: 60mm Front / 55mm Rear Drivetrain: SRAM Force 1 AXS Mulle
