Protecting your hands when mountain biking has long been a concern in the sport. Bar ends are a good way to ensure your hands don’t slide off your grips, and provide a barrier of protection in case you get a little too close to that rock or tree. However, the old style of bar ends often ended up hooking branches, and when you hook a branch at Mach 10, you’re not gonna have a good time.
