Watch Out Pogacar!
Watch out, Pog - the UCI has a new tyre checking tool. Debuting at Paris-Roubaix, a commissaire explained the tool checks the sidewall height of a tyre. This is done to ensure ever-wider tyres are compliant with the UCI's maximum 700mm tyre wheel diameter rule. Pogačar's super wide tyres spotted yesterday should be compliant, but any teams tempted to tickle the limits could now fall foul of the checks.
